A4 Prints (various)
€ 9,95
Option between four different prints:
- 'Bulabanda'
- 'Gelukszoekers'
- Tropical fruit
- 'Hollands fruit'
The 'Bulabanda' print is based on Clarice Gargard's 2022 documentary about Black resistance. Bulabanda is a place in Curaçao where, according to stories, enslaved people who had not eaten any salt went and flew back to their country of birth in Africa.
Gelukszoeker is a Dutch word that is often used in a derogatory sense for refugees who, according to the people using it, don't deserve asylum, because they're simply "seeking good fortune" (geluk zoeken). The word 'geluk' means both 'luck' and 'happiness', depending on the context. The text on the print says "I, too, am a gelukszoeker".
The prints are A4 size and printed on 100-160gr paper.
